This is another field that we can only give you a sampling of what is available. This we hope will stimulate questions on your part, which will help us decide the appropriate equipment to fill your needs.

The range can be from a single wired or wireless station to multi-station units throughout a business or residence. Many systems incorporate features such as music, intercom and paging, the limit of capabilities governed only by need or economics. Your day may require moving around and use of both hands, then your interest should lead to hands free equipment. Portable phones with head sets will allow you many of the capabilities indicated with your single or multi-unit systems.

Your concerns may be, what if I lose my telephone line, how does my alarm go to the central monitoring station? How do I communicate with the outside world? With the proper equipment installed, such as radio link to service signal transmission only, or cellular backup equipment which will activate during telephone line failure, service signal transmission and also change any household touchtone phone to cellular service.

The very least you should do is protect your incoming telephone service in every way possible, e.g. placing the line in rigid pipe where ever it is exposed and to what ever height possible to place it above easy reach.
